But, it’s a bit more complicated than that I’ve found lol. My current WiFi is from Verizon, and it is a 4G Hotspot, not An internet router. Feb 12, 2020 Connecting a Linksys Broadband Router to a Netgear I was wondering how i would go about connecting a WRT54GS v2 Linksys Broadband Router to a Netgear CG814WG v2 wireless cable modem gateway. the reason I'm doing this is to get extra modem ports and i was just wondering what steps i would take to make it work correctly.
I just recently bought my new Netgear R7000 router and had some similar issues with it not being able to see my Sonos system. This is what I did to remedy the situation. First, I made sure and updated the router to the most recent firmware. My set up is as follows: one wired Sonos Bridge, one Playbar (wireless), and one Sub (wireless).
