Jun 26, 2019 · If it still won't connect after this (which is what I'm struggling with) select "Advanced" options before you click "Connect" and you will be prompted to enter the IP address and several other numbers specific to your WiFi location. These numbers can be found in WiFi settings on another device (computer or phone) connected to the WiFi.
by "secure" i assume you mean a wifi network with a pass key/phrase? othewise if you mean VPN type secure, then you have something else going on entirely. go look for updated wifi drivers, that would be your best bet. you can try to go into device manager and disable the wifi adapter, reboot, enable it and see what it does.
